Hello, Today I’m making a video about everything I eat in a typical day. I am vegan but I more so follow the ‘raw food’ lifestyle, which means that I typically eat uncooked food, basically only fresh fruits and vegetables. Many people want to improve their health and feel better, more happy, and have enough energy to do what they love. However, many have doubts and are confused, because they believe being plant based cannot provide them with enough nutrition. Today, I’m going to show you a few meals that I have everyday. We’ll start with breakfast! I really hope that this video will be helpful for you. Vietnam is an amazing country filled with tropical fruits, and we don’t need to eat imported foods when we live here.
We can eat all of the fruits that Vietnam has to offer, and we won’t lack anything! I always have fruit at home. This morning, I went to the local market and bought two coconuts. I already had one from yesterday as well. I also bought a red dragon fruit, very ripe bananas, and ripe passion fruit . Limes, because I like to eat watermelon and lime, I also like lime with coconut water. And mango! I’m at the beach in Mui Ne, and there are many red mangoes here. This morning, I’ll make a smoothie. Yesterday I prepared bananas by freezing them, so now they’re cold. I’ll also add water from 1 coconut. I also froze some jackfruit. Add banana We’ll make a beautiful pink smoothie, so we’ll add red dragon fruit, jackfruit, and one mango.
I’ll also put in a bit of aloe vera. . It’s great for digestion and clearing out toxins from the intestinal tract.. I usually add a bit of spirulina powder, . but today I want a pink smoothie.. Spirulina would make it a deep green color. . Usually, I also like to add greens like spinach or bok choy.. Let’s blend!. What a beautiful color!. You can also add extra banana and passionfruit on top.. I poured some of the smoothie into a coconut. Looks good, right?. My breakfast is ready! When we eat a lot of fruit, then we should eat more than usual,. because compared to meat, eggs, fish, milk, bread, potatoes, etc.,. fruit has less calories. . However, it is filled with fiber, vitamins, antioxidants. Full of nutrients! . I feel so happy when I eat fruit . because it’s so colorful and hydrating! . Yum!. It’s 1:00pm now, and I’m about to eat lunch.
I just went swimming and rode by bike to the market to buy a watermelon. One kilo is only 6k VND , super cheap! I like to squeeze lime on the top, like this. So good! Since watermelon is sweet and lime is sour, it’s a really nice combination. I’m blessed to be in Vietnam where there are watermelons with seeds. In the U.S., most of the watermelon has been genetically altered to be seedless. They are unnatural and not organic. You might think that eating an entire half of a watermelon is too much, but to me, it’s totally normal. I might even eat more in a bit! Since watermelon is over 90% water, it digests very quickly, so we should eat it by itself, not mixed with other fruits or foods, especially fats. For example, don’t combine durian with watermelon at the same time.
Some people in Vietnam have a habit of eating something like beef hotpot and then having watermelon. . Americans are the same. They’ll have a BBQ, . eat sausages, hot dogs, bread, chips, and then eat watermelon, . which isn’t good at all, because we won’t be able to digest properly. . If you eat fruit then you should it by itself.. You’re digestion will be fast, and you’ll be able to absorb all of the nutrients. . Watermelon and other red fruits are full of lycopene and betacarotene,. which helps the skin, and prevents sunburn. . If you go out you’ll be less likely to burn. . I very rarely get burned after I’ve detoxified my body and started to eat mostly fruit. . Also, fruit is very hydrating so it protects our skin. . Before I was vegan, I drank a lot of milk and ate tons of cheese, . so my skin was full of blemishes. Now, I never get them!.
Well, sometimes, but very very rarely. . When we eat lots of fruit & drink coconut water, our skin will be glowing and smooth.. I’m making my second smoothie of the day.. This smoothie will be green, so I’ll add a bit of spirulina powder.. It’s a type of seaweed, full of protein, amino acids, and iron. . Here’s my green smoothie! What a beautiful color.. really good, and has a mostly banana flavor. . If you don’t eat enough greens, because maybe you don’t like the taste, . then you can make a smoothie with greens and you won’t be able to taste them, . since the flavor of the sweet fruit, like mango, banana, or jackfruit, will mask it. . Today, I actually had three smoothies. . I’m at the beach, so it’s pretty hot. . When I feel hot then I don’t get very hungry,. but I have to get in enough calories. . I just went to a cafe with my friend.
And had a mango, orange, and pineapple smoothie. . I’m making dinner now. . Tonight I’ll have sushi. . I bought this Korean sushi, . as well as avocado, bell pepper, cilantro, tomatoes, cucumber, and carrot. . First, I’ll take the seaweed then spread on the avocado.. You can also use regular rice , shredded carrot, or cauliflower rice. . You can organize the veggies like this: . tomato, cucumber, avocado, carrot, bell pepper, and cilantro. . Simple! . All done! I made it in about 15 minutes.. Fast, simple, healthy, and full of veggies!. Our vibrational frequency raises when we eat fresh fruits and vegetables. . If we eat things that have already died, . then we gradually start to feel sick and diseased. . When I first went vegan 7 years ago, . I still ate typical American food, only veganized: . vegan sausages, vegan ice cream, vegan cashew cheese, so many things!.
Now, I eat fruit and vegetables, and feel much better.. Some people think that fruits are more expensive, . and they don’t have enough money to be vegan,. but this isn’t fully true. . Of course, if you buy all organic, it’s going to get pricey.. The most important things is that you eat greens, and fresh fruits.. If we eat following the seasons, fruit will be cheaper.. For example, this watermelon was very cheap, . same as coconuts. . Keep in mind that when we’re older, . we won’t have any illnesses or need to spend a lot of money . buying expensive medicine or going to the hospital. . That’s what I eat in a normal day!. Breakfast is fruit, a smoothie, or juice. . Lunch is the same, and dinner is usually more vegetable based: salads or sushi. . Sometimes I eat boiled vegetables, and very rarely I eat other cooked foods..
